Optional Insurance for your customers
MPI will provide you with a bespoke Travel or Wintersports Insurance policy to market to your customers on an optional basis. You would then earn commission depending on the sale price of this insurance.
The insurance can be tailored to suit your particular requirements and would include the activities your customers are likely to do whilst on holiday.

Inclusive or Part Inclusive Plan
If you insure all your customers where the premium forms part of the holiday we have found that claims ratios reduce substantially and as a result we are able to provide terms which are far more competitive than offering insurance on an optional basis.
An alternative way is part inclusive and part opt out.
The concept is to take the medical section of travel insurance and include this in the cost of the holiday. We can obtain very competitive premiums as it only covers medical and everyone is insured.
The balance of the travel package (cancellation, liability, baggage etc) is then made available to your customer on an ‘opt out’ basis. The premium would be included in your deposit with an option for your customer to ‘opt out’ within 21 days of booking. We have a website where this can be done electronically.

The MPI Opt Out concept
The concept is to automatically show insurance on every invoice with the advice that your customer may opt out within 21 days of booking. This would be done by visiting your website and clicking on the MPI logo insurance opt out where they will be directed to a website.
Your customer will be invited to place information about their alternative Insurance Policy on this site and confirm that the policy they have meets your booking conditions.
Your customer will then receive an endorsement cancelling his policy and you will receive an e-mail for your records. Management information and reports will also be available.
The advantage to your company is:

- more commission
- you know that everyone is insured
- access to insurance records in the event of a major incident to enable you and the Assistance Company to help

MPI Main Plan
The MPI Wintersports Retail Scheme has been developed from a long history of designing specialist schemes for British Skiers. We can trace our history to the early 1950's when there where 50,000 British Skiers (now 1,500,000), we all skied in Switzerland or Austria and there were virtually no pistes. Insurance only covered accidents and the premium was just a few shillings.
Things have moved on and our Policy now has three packages to choose from, from the low cost Economy to the top of the range Excel, plus really great summer cover too.
Competitively priced with a high quality easy to read plain English policy wording customers can choose a Single Trip or Multi- Trip Insurance to suit their particular travel plans.
We will supply you with an iFrame or link (whatever the preference) to place on your website and other sales and promotional literature to effect introductions.
MPI Budget Plan
This has the same specialist cover included within it, but has been tailored for those who have no pre-existing medical conditions, and are under the age of 65..thus reducing the premiums.
